I just cannot get over the fact that she’s sitting there waiting for him– and her sweet “hey”– because she knows how rough this case must have been on him and how rough this whole day has been and that it still wasn’t over and all she wants to do is make things better for him and help him carry the weight he is carrying and remind him that he is not on his own that he has her by his side no matter what and she’s not going anywhere.
And I cannot get over how his entire demeanor changes, the smile that involuntarily draws on his lips, when he sees her because that’s How quickly just seeing her changes his mood and the effect her presence has on him– almost immediately the weight of everything he has been carrying seems to lift and he can only smile knowing that she will make everything ok.
Those two are absolutely everything and even though their journey has not been the easiest and they have had to deal with some serious shit, the place they are now has been absolutely worth it.
